Give a monthly gift

Setting up a regular gift is a great way to make a difference to the lives of people with Parkinson's.

A regular gift means we can plan ahead. It means we can invest in long term research projects to deliver the next new treatment in years not decades.

Will you set up a monthly gift? A gift of just £16 a month, over a year, can help run our helpline service for a day. Answering calls for support from across the Parkinson's community.

Donate monthly and, together, we'll find a cure

I would like to donate the following amount:

Your monthly gifts help keep our support services running. From the moment of diagnosis, we'll be there. We provide trusted information and advice whether it's in person, over the phone or simply reading a booklet. Your donation will help fund our Parkinson's adviser service and free, confidential helpline.

We know you're as dedicated to improving life for everyone with Parkinson's as we are. And we'll make sure we keep you informed about what your generous gifts have achieved with updates twice a year.

Managing your gift

We want you to be in control of your monthly gift. Make a change to how you give, update your Direct Debit details or let us know how you'd like to be contacted. Get in touch in the following ways:

If you want to cancel your gift, we want to say a huge thank you for your generosity. You can either cancel your Direct Debit with your bank or let us know on one of the methods above and we'll cancel your monthly donation.

You can also set up a gift to go out once a year, twice a year or once a quarter. Just let us know.

Anne-Marie's story

Anne-Marie was 47 when she was diagnosed, having only recently lost her father to the condition.

"I chose to keep my diagnosis from my mum, especially for a couple of years. I never lied to her. I just never told her the truth until I was strong enough to cope with it myself. My symptoms at the time were stiffness and I was exhausted. I'd lost my sense of smell and taste, but I thought for the most part I was coping. Actually, this was a lie.”

Exercise helps Anne-Marie with her Parkinson’s and she accessed support through Parkinson’s UK.

"From the diagnosis and care of my Dad, through to the nearly 8 years since my own journey began, Parkinson’s UK has been instrumental in giving support to the life I now lead with the condition.

"When the time came for me to step back from my working life, with the guidance from my local adviser, despite many concerns and an overwhelming sense of anxiety about completing the forms, I made a successful PIP application.”

Now, Anne-Marie acts as a leader in the First Steps programme, supporting others who have just been diagnosed with Parkinson’s.
